Privacy policy
Sunwash finds the best times to run appliances based on local sunshine. This page explains what the app collects and stores. Last updated October 29, 2026.
What stays on your device
The place you choose and your appliance run times are saved in your own browser (local storage) so they are there next time you visit. They are not sent to our servers, and this tool has no accounts. Clearing your browser data removes them.
What is sent to third parties
To find your place and get the sunshine forecast, your browser sends the place name you search for, and the latitude and longitude of the place you pick, to the Open-Meteo weather service. Like any web request, this lets that service see your IP address. See their privacy information for how they handle it.
Visit counts
The site may count visits in its own database to understand overall usage. There are no advertising trackers, and we do not sell your information.
Your choices
You can remove the saved place and run times at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
